Weald and Downland Living Museum is a 40 acre site featuring over 50 beautifully conserved historic buildings to provide an immersive journey back in time. Exhibits range from a Saxon hall house to working buildings of the late 19th century.
All the buildings are sourced from south east England, and have been expertly reconstructed, complete with authentic details such as mill ponds and farm animals. The site is geared towards learning, with hands-on workshops and a storytelling approach.
Winchester Science Centre is an interactive learning space geared towards children up to the age of 12. It brings science to life with fascinating shows and exhibits such as the Planetarium and Bio:Space, where kids can learn all about the native species of the South Downs National Park.
