Families considering heading to the capital this half-term should book their minibus hire to London as soon as possible, as there are loads of events taking place that will be brilliant for everyone to get involved in.

Even without a spooky itinerary, London is never short of a sight or two, but if you want your kids to experience a Halloween they’ll remember forever, booking one of the many ghoulsome activities will certainly do the trick.

Here is our pick of some of the exciting, creepy things you can enjoy during October half-term in London.

Ghosts & Ghouls Family Tour: Shakespeare’s Globe

Situated by the River Thames, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is a must-see for all literary fans. This historic, open-air, round theatre is most famously associated with the playwright William Shakespeare, as many of his plays were performed in the original structure.

Though it has been rebuilt since, it has been constructed with respect to the original roofless theatre and visitors are warned that if they come on a rainy day, they will need to dress for the wet weather.

This half-term, the theatre is hosting the Ghosts & Ghouls Family Tour, which allows visitors to learn more about the spooky, supernatural and eerie sides of Shakespeare’s famous scripts.

Famous scenes, such as the Three Witches’ spells in Macbeth and seeing Hamlet’s father’s ghost, will be brought to life for visitors, who will also be able to learn about the dark aspects of life during the 16th Century.
